Chocolate carries with it some great memories from childhood for me. I remember the almost weekly stops my mother and I would make into See's candies, and coveting the free piece of chocolate I always received. My mother was always predictable, her selection never varied. It was always marzipan, usually two pieces. I often chose caramel or butterscotch, but often opted for the prettier bonbons or truffles. Those little pieces of chocolate were like golden nuggets. I savored every bite! Needless to say, my love for chocolate hasn't subsided over time.
