This year was a weird winter. And I'm pretty sure there's a lot of you that can say that, no matter where you live. But finally it seems to have really come to an end! Winter seemed longer than usual here in Alberta, but it has warmed up drastically in the last few weeks. Although the ice and snow hasn't completely melted yet, I'm personally dreaming of the green grass, budding trees, and the whole smell of spring. Summer isn't quite my cup of tea here, as it tends to get very hot, and I just don't like weather that's sweltering! But one of the few things I really enjoy in the summer is picnics and barbeques. ReplyDeleteI would love to have a new grill! A Kingsford would be extra nice! My grill is on its last legs. The Omaha Steaks would be icing on the cake for my family. What a treat!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have a barbecue right now, although we've had one in the past and enjoyed it. We were initially at a loss with what to do, since I became a vegetarian several years ago. Thankfully, we discovered grill baskets! We marinate veggies in a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice, then grill them up in the grill basket. We also love grilling the pineapple skewers from M&M meat shops!
